St Ultans 3-19 Ratoath 1-7
St Ultans secured two valuable points in the league with a win over Ratoath on Tuesday evening.
Ultans started brightly and raced into a four point lead in the first five minutes Darragh Reilly, Kyle Cosgrove, Darren Kavanagh and Johnny Foster all scoring from play. The sides continued to exchange scores and Ratoath scored a goal after twenty minutes to bring themselves with a point but the Ultans closed the half with five unanswered points to lead by six at the break.
Ratoath opened the scoring in the second half with a pointed free but Ultans were causing trouble to the Ratoath defence and three points Tommy Buchanan (2) and Darragh Reilly left Ultans in control. Tommy Buchanan finished a great team move with a composed finish seven minutes into the second half. Tommy Buchanan would go on to raise two more green flags as Ultans ran out comfortable victors with eight players getting on the scoresheet.
